You may continue to use your current non-reloadable MyVanilla Prepaid Starter Card to make purchases until there is no balance on your card. If you do not wish to spend down the balance on your Starter Card, you may cancel your Starter Card at any time, by calling 1-855-686-9513. We will cancel the card and a check for any remaining balance above $1.00 on your card will be mailed to you for free.

Pissed Woman
I received a card TODAY from staff in the amount of $250.00. When I went to activate the card, it said invalid. I took the card back to Walgreens where it was purchased and they showed that the card was successfully activated. Called OneVanilla twice and spoke to a very rude woman/man the second time. Hung up in my face, refused to help and told me that they are busy as if my issue with them not activating the card wasn’t important. I called back and my number was flagged. Everyone kept saying they couldn’t help me. Then I called from another number and after they realized it was for the same case I called perviously about they told me it would take 30-65 days to get a new card with the funds loaded to it. This company is TRASH! Be ware and do joy purchase. Giftcards.com is wayyyy better than these crocks.

If you lose your one vanilla card don’t even try to get a refund because they give you the runaround and they have you give them a lot of information but then they give you a fake fax number that is always busy so don’t even try it

Thanks for sharing your opinion Kelli and sorry for your issues and problems. My Vanilla is definitely a very poor choice for someone that uses it a lot for small purchases.

I will NEVER use MyVanilla Visa EVER again
I bought this card to put 60.00 on it (cash load) for my 3 kids to buy stuff for a game they play online and we’ll wouldn’t you like to know they said I tried registering my card too many times I only tried twice!!!!!
And they froze my card I then had to call customer service we are able to use the card however only to find out there is a .95 fee per purchase!!!
These things my kids are buying are .99 a piece!!!! So yea I spent $60.00 for only $30.00 – what a scam what a rip off!

Sorry for your problems reaching customer service. Are you trying to reach MyVanilla or OneVanilla? Are they just not answering?
What fees are you being charged for? Sounds like your being scammed or have been a victim of fraud?

So i have been using myvanilla prepaid debit cards since 2015 never one time have i had any issues or bad customer service until these last couple months( April- current) they deactivated my card without my knowledge or consent and now i have had to call them 5 times for a replacement card since mind u i have money in my acct.
and here i am 2 whole months later and no card. (4 th card sent out again today, ) once my replacement card finally arrives which by the way, they want to try and charge me $21.00 to get the shipping expedited, i will be removing all my money and closing out all 3 accounts i now have with this company and i will no longer use this company.

I bought 2 my vanilla customer debit Visa cards on Friday at Dollar general store when I tried to activate them I was told they were not registered ,the store will not register so here I sit with 1000.dollar cards in my hand ,useless .I want something done or my money refunded immeduatedly.if not am turning it over to my attorney .preferrably my money refunded
